Description: a virtual space where artists join together in sharing their art with others on the Internet
Comments: "Enjoy visiting artists studios and roaming the gallery rooms." Over 11 years ago, the site launched as a result of a barter between Lile, an artist, and a friend who was interested in one of her oil paintings. She got a free internet connection for a year out of the deal and soon launched art.net. Today, it houses the works of over 400 artists, presenting their works in a non-commercial setting (see the Manifesto). The design is somewhat old fashioned but the site's navigation is pretty good – more important, the content is remarkable (and vast). Here's a fun starting point...

Comments: Jeremy's crazy mixed-up world includes the 2-headed salaryman figurine who would prefer you call them "graham" and erwin the baby carrot figurine who warns he's "a bad seed" – incredible characters especially when you mutate or disassemble them. There's plenty of other crazy characters to amuse you too...

Comments: If you wanna have some fun, download the variason Flash sound toy, turn the lights down low and the volume way up, and go to town with your keyboard – sort of a symphony and color light show all-in-one. Also in the media and algorythmes section is a collection of home made music you can listen to while you view the tasty art and design works in the galerie. There's more, but you'll have to explore...;~))

Comments: Rick and his family love to travel. Their last trip was to Alaska back in August. It was Morocco and Spain in April and southern Florida in January. Those destinations represent just 3 of 19 photo galleries. Living in Colorado, Rick certainly has an eye for beautiful landscapes and wildlife – if you appreciate the great outdoors, you're gonna love his collection...
