"Our life has been a crabwise series of lateral movements from failure to futility, punctuated by the occasional disaster." Where else can you find a post wherein the author hands out a (well-deserved) "I'm not going to let my own stupidity stand in the way of my god-given right to be an idiot!" award? And though recently a victim of incipient nutballism, he keeps dishing out the sardonic humor that keeps me coming back. Funny and intelligent at the same time – failure is surely underrated...;~))

"Society places people with disabilities into the margins of our culture" and somewhere between the authoritarian vs. benevolent approaches to treating these individuals comes a greater understanding. As the photos in Lion on the Wall show, these individuals are really quite normal. That's just one of Steven's series of thoughtful photographs – a "realistic and intimate glimpse at the everyday lives of people."
